Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 18, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Concised (“Concised,” “Concised AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit concised.ai or use the Concised service, platform, dashboard, APIs, edge configuration, or related features together, the “Service”.
Concised helps website owners generate, maintain, and serve a structured, AI-readable version of their websites to AI crawlers, retrieval agents, and other automated readers. The Service may also provide AI bot analytics, citation tracking, brand monitoring, and related visibility tools.
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Scope and roles
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect:
- from visitors to concised.ai;
- from customers, account users, and people who contact us;
- from customer websites connected to Concised;
- from requests routed through the Concised edge configuration; and
- through dashboards, analytics, AI-visibility monitoring, and support interactions.
For account, billing, website, and support information, Concised generally acts as an independent controller or business.
For certain information processed on behalf of a customer’s connected website, including visitor request logs and bot-traffic data, Concised may act as a processor, service provider, or equivalent role under applicable privacy laws. In those cases, the customer is responsible for providing any legally required notices to its own site visitors and for ensuring it has a lawful basis to use the Service.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
When you create an account, request a demo, subscribe to a plan, contact us, or otherwise interact with us, we may collect:
- name;
- work email address;
- company name;
- role or title;
- account login details;
- messages, support requests, and feedback;
- billing details and plan information; and
- any other information you choose to provide.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed by our payment processor. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
Information from customer websites
When you connect a website to Concised, we process information needed to generate, update, and serve an AI-readable version of that website. This may include:
- public HTML, text, images, metadata, and page content;
- sitemap, routing, internal-link, and page-structure information;
- robots, crawler, and AI-access configuration;
- content edits, overrides, labels, instructions, or preferences you submit;
- generated structured content, summaries, metadata, and AI-readable page versions; and
- technical configuration related to edge delivery.
Concised is designed to work with public website content. We do not intentionally process pages or data behind authentication unless you explicitly configure or authorize that access.
Information from requests to customer websites
When the Concised edge configuration is installed in front of a customer website, we may observe and process technical request data so that we can route requests, serve the correct version of a page, produce analytics, detect abuse, and secure the Service. This may include:
- IP address;
- user-agent;
- inferred bot or crawler identity, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, or similar AI clients;
- requested URL;
- timestamp;
- response served, such as the human website or AI-readable version;
- referrer or source information, where available;
- approximate geographic region derived from IP address; and
- security, rate-limit, and abuse-detection signals.
We use this information to provide dashboards and visibility analytics to the relevant customer, to operate the Service, and to improve reliability and security. We do not sell this information.
AI visibility, citation, and brand-monitoring data
If you use Concised’s visibility, citation-tracking, or brand-monitoring features, we may process:
- brand names, product names, topics, prompts, queries, or competitors you configure;
- AI-generated responses, citations, links, snippets, and source URLs;
- platform, model, timing, and result metadata;
- reports, alerts, and dashboard outputs; and
- configuration and monitoring preferences.
Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or regulated information into monitoring prompts unless your plan or agreement expressly allows it and you have confirmed that doing so is lawful.
Information collected automatically on concised.ai
When you visit concised.ai, we may collect standard web and device information, including:
- IP address;
- browser and device type;
- pages visited;
- referring page;
- approximate location;
- timestamps; and
- performance, error, and usage data.
We use Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and similar first-party or privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand site performance and usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioral advertising trackers.
Communications
If you subscribe to updates, request information, or communicate with us, we may process your contact details and message content. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us at hello@concised.ai.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
- create, update, host, transform, and serve AI-readable versions of customer websites;
- route requests between human-facing and AI-readable versions of customer websites;
- produce bot-traffic analytics, citation tracking, visibility reports, and brand-monitoring outputs;
- manage accounts, authentication, subscriptions, billing, and support;
- communicate with you about the Service, including administrative notices, product updates, support, and security alerts;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, spam, malware, security incidents, and unauthorized access;
- debug, test, monitor, and improve Service performance and reliability;
- enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified analytics that do not reasonably identify a person or customer site visitor.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where required by applicable law, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract performance, such as providing the Service, managing accounts, and billing customers.
- Legitimate interests, such as securing the Service, improving reliability, producing analytics, preventing abuse, and communicating with business users, where those interests are not overridden by privacy rights.
- Consent, where required for certain communications, cookies, or optional processing.
- Legal obligations, such as tax, accounting, compliance, and lawful requests.
- Customer instructions, where we process personal information on behalf of a customer as a processor or service provider.
6. How we share information
We share information only as needed to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service.
Service providers and subprocessors
We use third-party providers for infrastructure, hosting, analytics, edge delivery, AI processing, monitoring, communications, support, and billing. These providers may include:
- hosting and analytics providers, such as Vercel;
- edge delivery and security providers, such as Cloudflare;
- AI model or AI infrastructure providers used to generate, refine, or evaluate AI-readable content;
- payment processors;
- email, support, and customer-management providers; and
- security, monitoring, and logging providers.
We require service providers to process information only for authorized purposes and to protect it using appropriate safeguards. A current subprocessor list is available on request by emailing hello@concised.ai.
Payment processing
Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment processor. The payment processor receives the information necessary to process transactions, prevent fraud, and comply with payment-related legal obligations.
Customer dashboards
For customer websites connected to Concised, we may display analytics, bot-traffic data, AI visibility results, citations, and related insights to the relevant customer and its authorized account users.
Legal, safety, and compliance
We may disclose information if we believe doing so is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, legal process, or government requests;
- enforce our agreements;
- protect the rights, safety, or property of Concised, our customers, site visitors, or others;
- detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or
- respond to lawful requests by public authorities.
Business transfers
If Concised is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any successor entity will be bound by this Privacy Policy or a policy that provides materially similar protections, unless you are notified otherwise.
7. AI model use
Concised may use third-party AI model providers to generate, refine, evaluate, or structure AI-readable versions of customer website content.
We do not use Customer Content to train general-purpose AI models. We also require AI providers that process Customer Content for us to process it only to provide the Service and not to train their general-purpose models, unless you have separately authorized that use.
AI clients, crawlers, search engines, and retrieval agents that independently access your public website or AI-readable pages are not Concised subprocessors. Their use of content they fetch is governed by their own policies and terms.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Concised uses cookies and similar technologies for:
- authentication and account sessions;
- security and fraud prevention;
- site functionality;
- analytics and performance measurement; and
- remembering user preferences.
We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal information for behavioral advertising.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect how the website or Service works.
Where legally required, we will honor applicable opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, in accordance with applicable law. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, such signals generally confirm our existing practice.
9. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.
In general:
- account information is retained while your account is active;
- billing and transaction records are retained as required for tax, accounting, and compliance purposes;
- Customer Content, generated AI-readable content, and configuration data are retained while your subscription or account remains active;
- analytics and request data are retained for the duration needed to provide dashboards, reporting, security, and operational functionality;
- support communications are retained as needed for support history, training, compliance, and dispute resolution; and
- aggregated or de-identified data may be retained for longer where it no longer reasonably identifies an individual.
You may request deletion by emailing hello@concised.ai. We may retain certain information where required by law, where needed for legitimate business purposes, or where deletion would impair security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including:
- encryption in transit;
- encryption at rest where supported by our infrastructure providers;
- access controls;
- authentication controls;
- logging and monitoring;
- least-privilege internal access practices; and
- vendor security review where appropriate.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights

If your request relates to information processed on behalf of one of our customers, such as data collected through that customer’s connected website, we may direct your request to the relevant customer or assist the customer in responding.
12. Canada
If Canadian privacy law applies, Concised handles personal information in accordance with applicable private-sector privacy principles, including accountability, identifying purposes, limiting collection, consent where required, safeguards, openness, access, and correction.
You may contact us at hello@concised.ai to request access to or correction of your personal information.
13. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
If GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss data protection law applies, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and receive a portable copy of personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to processing in certain circumstances. Where we process personal data on behalf of a customer, that customer is generally responsible for determining the lawful basis for processing.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Concised and its service providers may process information in the country where you live, in the United States of America, in Canada, and in other countries where our infrastructure, vendors, or subprocessors operate.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
16. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Concised, contact us at hello@concised.ai and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
